➢ IC Permissions

Physical affection: Byleth tends to be pretty touch-averse, though not necessarily violently so. They do their best to make their boundaries clear, but don't usually hold hard feelings unless you continue to push them on it. Shoulder pats and other coarser displays of affection tend to go over much better than tender gestures.

Hugging: If you're a friend? Sure! Hugs aren't Byleth's favorite, but they know they mean a whole lot to a lot of people. They also generally overlook excited hugging from strangers in cases where said stranger just couldn't contain it, but as with general physical affection, they would prefer a pat on the shoulder or an affirming nod.

Flirting: Byleth is extremely tone-deaf when it comes to flirting, most of it will go completely over their head. Cat-calling and other aggressive flirting methods are a sure-fire way to be ignored for the remainder of the scene and potentially avoided for the next couple months, unless someone makes a case for you. In general, though, if they can't tell you're flirting, they don't have qualms with it.

Relationships: They are 21 and demiromantic + pansexual, though they've never actively sought romance in their life and don't entirely know what to think of the concept. You're welcome to try, but it'll probably take a lot of legwork for them to be interested in the right ways. They tend to take better to romance born from well-established friendships.

Physical Violence: FIghting is probably one the things Byleth knows how to do best, and they rarely refuse a challenge unless someone's safety is at risk. You want to brawl out of the blue? Feel free to start something, even if it's in anger Byleth will handle it well enough. That said, they won't do serious damage unless they have strong reason to believe there's literally no other option, though they do prefer to non-lethally subdue a foe over talking or retreating. Hopefully if you do get into a serious tussle with them, one of their fellow FE3H peeps will be around to talk things down.

Killing: Talk with me OOC first, but this is not a hard no! Byleth is used to being in potentially deadly situations and is generally prepared for the unexpected.

Psychic & Psionic Info: Byleth likely reads as weird. They may have a heartbeat now, but there are still pieces missing, both from the circumstances of their birth and from the life they've lived. You might also pick up on traces of Sothis, who shared their headspace until recently. They generally think a lot, but in a disjointed manner, and can be difficult to read.

Magical Info: Byleth isn't a magic user and Sothis's Crest no longer works, but those sensitive might still pick up on it in its subdued state. They overall have little experience with or understanding of magic, though they know a little more than the average layperson on account of having to teach magic-inclined students.

Medical Info: During fourth wall events, Byleth's heart stops beating. This restricts how much they're able to express and feel emotions physically, but even in this state they are as vulnerable as any human. Outside of this they're generally fit, though they do have a fair number of scars from various blades and spells they've encountered in battle, and have suffered some broken bones in their extremities.

Offensive Subjects & Triggers: Intensely religious topics, especially those concerning the Church of Seiros, may rouse some anxiety. Direct discussion of experimentation on people, especially on them, will likely also cause them a significant amount of stress. Until they properly adjust to having a fully-functioning human body, Byleth will be easily incited into anxiety and panic attacks, which could be prompted by high emotion (especially physical emotion) of any nature.

➢ OOC Permissions

Backtagging: I'm generally fine with backtagging, though if I feel compelled to close a thread early I'll try to reach out OOCly about it!

Threadhopping: I'd ideally like prior notice for more serious threads, but otherwise go ham as long as everyone's on the same page

Fourthwalling: For now I'd prefer not to play with this, at least when it comes to specifically Fire Emblem fourthwalling, because it might be triggering for me depending on the situation.

Offensive subjects & triggers: Fakeclaiming/casting doubt on disabilities IRL or IRP, details relating to dentistry and tooth/mouth health, outspoken hatred/condemnation of children, and outspoken hatred/condemnation of bugs and wolves are all triggering subjects for me. Comparatively I doubt much of anything will squick me out or otherwise bug me here, though I do have very little patience for online community drama/arguments and would rather not get into stuff like that IRP. I also do not play smut, full stop!

Anything else? I have OSDD, meaning my activity and interest levels may be unpredictable at times, especially when I'm stressed IRL, and how I write might fluctuate a little. I'm mentioning this not to get special treatment or to open myself up to questions about my disorder (if you want to read up, r/DID and r/plural are good places to start ime), but just to clarify that if I poof or anything like that it's not personal! If I have any issues I'll make sure to do the adult thing and reach out OOCly about it. This is also why fourthwalling might trigger me.
