Professor, I was reminded it may be wise to inform you that some Paliens have a particular ability called Pick Up. It allows them to mysterious find items. They do not have any owner, so please do not fuss if you ever get such a companion and they end up doing such a thing. You do not have to go looking for the owner of the item.
